By rail with Deutsche Bahn

We have partnered with the Berlin Convention Office of visitBerlin to offer you discounted train tickets from Deutsche Bahn.

You can start your journey to Berlin from anywhere within Germany at a very nice rate:

Prices for the event ticket (one-way, for a specific connection only) start at €49.50 in 2nd class and €80.90 in 1st class. If you want more flexibility, the Event Ticket (single trip, for all connections) costs €67.50 in 2nd class and €98.90 in 1st class.
The Event Ticket (travel distance over 100 km) includes the City Ticket for travel in Berlin and in over 120 German cities on the day of your trip.

You can book the tickets directly on the Deutsche Bahn website. You can find more information about the DB Event Ticket on their website (Google Translate).

And as far as sustainability is concerned, Deutsche Bahn long-distance travel is completely powered by renewable electricity.

Travel within Berlin

German government will introduce a 9-Euro-Ticket offer for local and regional transport in June (and subsequently July and August) 2022 which is valid for the whole month. You can purchase the ticket from 23 May 2022 via DB channels such as bahn.de, the DB Navigator app and at train stations.

Where should I book my accomodation?

You basically have two options: near the UXcamp site in Adlershof – which is a bit outside, or in the center of Berlin – where the parties will take place. So it's up to you whether you want to travel before and after the camp, or before and after the parties. We are afraid we do not have any hotel contingents that we can offer you.

Travelling together and Couchsurfing

If you want to travel together with other UXcamp Europe 2022 participants to Berlin, feel free to use our #travel Slack channel, same goes for #couchsurfing.
